Wangechi Mutu Puzzle

A table puzzle printed with "Pretty Ugly Dreamlike Glare" : one of Mutu's early works comprised of mylar, sequins, and layered ink on collage. A light hearted gift that will bring a splash of aesthetic wonder to any table or home.

Acclaimed artist Wangechi Mutu (b. 1972 Nairobi, Kenya) works across painting, collage, drawing, sculpture, and film, developing hybrid, fantastical forms that fuse mythical and folkloric narratives with layered sociohistorical references. Mutu's practice consistently challenges the ways in which cultures and histories have traditionally been classified, and proffers new models for a radically changed future informed by feminism, Afrofuturism, and interspecies symbiosis.
