Artists for Azuero 2012 Plates Edition

Artists for Azuero 2012 Plates Edition

Item #: 10022155

In support of the global impact that comes from the Azuero Earth Project's work, a group of internationally acclaimed, contemporary artists have each contributed an image to be reproduced on a functional dinner plate. The group of artists represents a diverse range of styles and genres; from painting and photography to sculpture and environmental art, and will focus on images inspired by the natural world. Using the language of contemporary visual art, the project becomes a tangible object that celebrates the vast and diverse beauty of landscape which remains at the core of the AEP's mission. AEP works to protect the fragile species and preserves biodiversity in what is now one of the most sensitive, endangered ecosystems in Central America, Panama's Azuero Peninsula.

Some of the proceeds from this edition will benefit AEP. All plates are handmade by Lenox in the United States.
